I got so excited about posting the first band concert pictures of our son that I missed the post about Thanksgiving! First, the most exciting news - my sister and Joe are engaged! We heard about it when they were on their way to our house Thanksgiving morning as Joe had proposed to Shantel that morning.

We also celebrated my brother's 40th birthday, along with the birthdays of Choo, Shantel and our daughter (all within a few weeks of each other).

Mr. M got a hat too!Shantel, Joe and Kurt took the kids to the new exhibits at the Adventure Science Center, including one of the new Planetarium shows -> "It's Venus!" [There was a docent leading the talk before the Nashville sky show and Mr. M answered her questions but she just kept right on talking on script. It was a big joke after everyone got home - one of those "you had to be there" jokes!].

We had a great visit with them and, to top it off, attended the Rockettes Christmas show at Opryland together.
